Grape Varieties: This compelling blend of local Mavro and Cabernet Sauvignon has created a ripe and mouth filling wine.
Characteristics: Richly textured with some rustic and earthy notes with evident fruit of dark berries and black plums nuanced by the flavours of cherry, raisins, juniper and dried herbs. The fruit is framed with
spicy cedar and hints of pipe tobacco and cocoa as age lingers through. This wine is easy to drink.
Food pairing: Share it with friends with juicy ribs in a sticky BBQ sauce with sweet potato fries and corn pudding as the perfect food pairing to stand up to this flavourful wine. Another outstanding choice would be a spicy Cyprus Sausage, pork Afelia or pepperoni pizza.
